Step by Step Oil Painting
Sunshine Beach is a popular surfing beach and great to walk on .The surf was pretty rough the day this photo was taken. Taken in the early morning, the light is very bright and intense. I painted in a rough outline with cobalt thinned with gum turps. I then worked on the sky, allowed it to dry and did the background headland. I off to main Beach to cool off,

Tuscany Painting Step by Step Palette Knife Painting by Chris Hobel Stage 2
This is the next step in the painting from the previous post. I allowed the painting to dry to keep clean colour.The purple hills, darks and foliage are added and a few highlights. The scene is set for the poppies in the next stage
