Childers,A view from last years festival, not a good pic, hence the size
from a publicity brochureMusic,dance lots of great food and fun was the theme of the Childers Festival of CulturesI visited with friends on the weekend. The music alone was worth the 3 hour drive from Noosa and all for free, even the food samples, avocados music, cooked recipes . Stand out bands were Los Cobras and Chukale Afro Cuban Salsa Ensemble. We continued on up north to Baffle Creek, Rules Beach and followed the 4 wheel drive track via Deepwater National Park to Agnes Waters and 1770. I took lots of fantastic photos, very inspirational for painting. Must go for a bike ride on such a beautiful day, be back with more news soon.
